Special Sale Event Set For Dec. 4, 5, And 6
December 04, 2020
Its that special time of year, and the Rivertowne Antique Center in historic Columbia, Pa., will hold its annual Holiday Open House Sale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4, 5 and 6. Store hours will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all three days. It will be our 17th year celebrating the holiday season, said Georgia Townsend, co-owner of the multi-dealer shop with partner Ron Madar. Were looking forward to seeing the familiar faces of our longstanding customers, as well as meeting new antique hunters searching for that unique gift for family and friends. During the three day sale, dealers will offer special discounts from 10 to 40 percent off items just in time for the gift giving season. Large or small, antiques and collectibles provide holiday shoppers with a creative alternative to more traditional gift ideas, stated Madar. Browse through two floors of quality 19th- and 20th-century antiques and collectibles including furniture, primitives, folk art, stoneware, textiles, jewelry, general store and advertising items, industrial and decorative smalls all displayed in a restored tobacco warehouse along the Susquehanna River. Take a break from the stressful environment of the pandemic, said Townsend. Relax and enjoy shopping in our comfortable historical building and discover wonderful gift ideas. Rivertowne will be following healthcare guidelines such as mask wearing and social distancing. Come visit the antique center down by the river at 125 Bank Ave. in Columbia. VISA and Mastercard are accepted. Gift certificates, layaway and shipping are available. The regular shop hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center is closed on Tuesdays.
