Sept. 5 Event In Lewisburg, Pa.

September 04, 2026

Two of the Susquehanna Valleys most beloved shopping destinations will celebrate milestone anniversaries with a special day of festivities on Saturday, Sept. 5, as Rollermills Antique Mall marks its 35th anniversary and Street of Shops celebrates 30 years in business. The celebration will take place at both locations and will feature special sales, refreshments, and anniversary events throughout the day as the businesses thank the customers, vendors, and employees who have supported them over the past three decades. Founded by Craig Bennett, Rollermills Antique Mall opened in 1991 at 517 Saint Mary St., Lewisburg, Pa., inside a historic flour mill originally constructed in 1883. Bennett carefully restored the landmark building, transforming it into one of the largest antique malls in the East. Today, the Rollermills is home to approximately 400 antique dealers and vendors and continues to attract visitors in search of quality antiques, collectibles, and unique treasures. Five years later, Bennett restored another historic Lewisburg landmark, the former Pennsylvania House Upholstery Plant at 100 N. Water St., creating the Street of Shops, which opened in 1996. Designed as an indoor streetscape unlike any other in the area, the destination now features more than 500 vendors and crafters, along with a popular indoor flea market on the lower level and a nostalgic 1950s-style restaurant serving homestyle favorites. Together, the two destinations welcome more than 20,000 visitors each month, drawing shoppers, collectors, and antique enthusiasts from across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Their continued success has helped make Lewisburg a regional destination while contributing to the local economy and preserving two of the communitys historic landmarks. Over the years, both businesses have earned a reputation for offering exceptional antiques, handcrafted goods, collectibles, gifts, and home dcor, while remaining committed to quality vendors, knowledgeable staff, and outstanding customer service. Their longevity is a testament to the loyalty of thousands of customers, many of whom have been returning for decades. When we opened the Rollermills, we never imagined wed still be welcoming customers 35 years later, said Bennett. Were thankful for our incredible vendors, our dedicated staff, and the loyal customers whove supported us every step of the way. This celebration is really for them. Their support has allowed us to preserve these historic buildings, create a destination that people enjoy visiting, and continue growing year after year. The public is invited to join the celebration at both venues on Sept. 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rollermills Antique Mall is located at 517 St. Mary St., Lewisburg, and is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. The Street of Shops is located at 100 North Water St., Lewisburg, and is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
