Locati LLC had a successful auction billed as property from a New Castle, Del., gentleman. We rarely have single-owner sales, commented co-owner Michael Locati, but this was a really cohesive group of objects that we thought we could market effectively for the client. We are always looking for new approaches to achieve the best results for consignors and to make an exciting auction for our market. The sale included 18th- through 20th-century furniture, fine decorative arts, oriental rugs, a small collection of antique shotguns, a library of bound books, and fine art that included works by Giuseppe Mazzolini, Henri De Braekeleer, Markus Larsson, Jan Dirksz Both and others.
